Tomato LM-03-17

Cultivation Working with «LM-03-17»

Managing this tomato variety is straightforward due to its determinate growth habit. The plant is compact, which significantly reduces the need for complex support systems and intensive pruning. For the operator, this means optimized labor costs and easier access for harvesting, even in high-density plantings.

Maturity and Yield

With a maturation period of up to 90 days, this variety is classified as early-maturing. This rapid cycle allows growers to harvest before the onset of peak fungal diseases, reducing the reliance on chemical protective measures. The fruit size, ranging from 150 to 200 grams, is considered the commercial standard, balancing consumer preference for fresh produce with efficiency in processing.

Technical Specifications

• Fruit shape: Perfectly rounded, minimizing waste during automated grading and retail packaging.
• Visual appeal: The deep red color remains stable during transit, ensuring high marketability upon delivery.
• Seed performance: The material shows high germination energy, leading to uniform field emergence and predictable plant density.

Developed in Russia, this variety is well-adapted to local climatic fluctuations, maintaining productivity even under variable temperature conditions. It responds reliably to standard agrotechnical inputs like irrigation and fertilization, making it a robust choice for operations where predictability and ease of maintenance are top priorities.
