Description 62396
A rootstock is a key element for successfully growing fruit trees, providing control over growth, yield, and resistance to adverse conditions. The range includes dwarf, semi-dwarf, and vigorous varieties, each with its own characteristics.

The dwarf rootstock B 7‑35 is characterized by its compact height – the trees reach only 40 % of the standard height of the variety, making them ideal for small gardens and urban plots. It shows high drought and frost resistance, as well as good compatibility with various apple varieties. The semi-dwarf rootstock 62‑396 ensures early bearing and fast-growing yield, withstands low temperatures down to ‑16 °C and practically does not produce suckers in the garden. The vigorous variety 54‑118 is characterized by vigorous growth and excellent winter hardiness.

All rootstocks have a number of advantages: high frost resistance, resistance to scab, good rooting ability and absence of suckers, which simplifies garden care. At the same time, dwarf varieties may be less durable and more susceptible to drought due to the limited root depth. When choosing a rootstock, consider the climatic conditions of your region, soil type, and desired tree height to achieve maximum yield and long-term garden stability.
