Economic analysis showed that semi-dwarf rootstock 57‑233 is the most profitable option in the Middle Volga region. When used, the production cost is only 8.9 rubles per tree, and profitability reaches 27.3 %. This makes this type of rootstock preferable for commercial orchardists.
Compared to dwarf rootstocks, where production costs are higher (12.0 rubles), the semi-dwarf option provides higher yield and economic efficiency. This approach allows reducing planting and maintenance costs while increasing overall apple production revenue.
