RGT Valencia CLP is a mid-season sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus (EuroLight Plus) technology by RAGT Semences Ukraine. It is intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones with insufficient or unstable moisture, making it especially valuable for farms facing drought. Medium-height plants exhibit strong early growth and high drought resistance, enabling stable yields of 40-50 c/ha. The hybrid matures in 110-120 days, and the recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture level.
The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type with high oil content — 52-54%, ensuring high oleic acid content in the product. RGT Valencia CLP demonstrates high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including new strains of powdery mildew, phomopsis, phomosis, rust, white mold of the head, and peronosporosis. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits tolerance to parasitic vegetation and effectively resists various races of downy mildew (A-F), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss.
