Description Pervoklashka
Cucumber 'First Grade' is a very early and high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid that can be successfully grown both in open ground and under plastic coverings. Plants start fruiting as early as 38-43 days after germination, ensuring a rapid harvest. The cucumbers of this variety have a length of 9-11 cm, a diameter of 3-3.5 cm, and a weight ranging from 65 to 110 grams. They feature a cylindrical shape, finely ribbed surface, and white spines. The bright green color and crisp, juicy flesh make them attractive for both fresh consumption and pickling.

Plants of the 'First Grade' variety are medium-height, indeterminate, with female-type flowering, which contributes to high yield and mass fruit formation. Leaves are small and green, and the number of female flowers per node reaches three or more, enhancing fruiting efficiency. The variety is resistant to adverse weather conditions and diseases, including powdery mildew, olive spot, and cucumber mosaic virus, and it is tolerant to false powdery mildew. These traits make it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

Due to its flavor and pickling qualities, cucumber 'First Grade' is widely used for both canning and fresh consumption. The fruits withstand long-distance transportation well, expanding their market potential. This variety can be grown both in greenhouses and open ground, with planting density varying depending on conditions: in greenhouses, 2.5-3 plants per square meter are recommended, while in open ground — 4-5 plants. This hybrid combines high early maturity, excellent taste, and resistance to adverse factors, making it popular among gardeners and farmers.
