Mirabelle F1

Cucumber Mirabelle F1 — an early parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, developed by the Dutch breeding company Seminis. It is intended for cultivation in open ground, polyethylene, and glass greenhouses, both vertically and horizontally. The plant is vigorous with a well-developed root system, ensuring drought resistance and reliable nutrition. Up to 6-7 fruits form at each node, contributing to high yield. The maturation period is 40-45 days, enabling early and uniform harvest. Mirabelle F1 fruits have a regular cylindrical shape with a length-to-thickness ratio of approximately 3.25:1. The length of the cucumbers reaches about 10 cm with a weight of approximately 100 grams. The skin is dark green, thin, covered with medium-sized bumps and white spines. The flesh is dense, juicy, aromatic, without bitterness, with a small seed cavity filled with small seeds. Due to its dense structure, the cucumbers retain firmness even after salting and pickling, making them versatile for fresh consumption and preservation. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, and cucumber mosaic virus. The leaves are large and rough, effectively protecting the fruits from sunburn, which helps maintain the market appearance and quality of the harvest. Mirabelle F1 has excellent transportability and long storage life, making it marketable year-round. This hybrid is ideal for cultivation in both first and second crops, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
