Malishok-Krepishok is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and under temporary plastic coverings. The plant is female-flowering, strongly growing with limited lateral branching, which simplifies care and shaping. The hybrid is characterized by a bouquet-type flower bud set, with 2 to 4 female flowers forming in each node, which contributes to high yield and stable fruiting even under unfavorable growing conditions.
Malishok-Krepishok fruits are cylindrical, 7 to 12 cm long and 73 to 130 grams in weight. They are dark green with short or medium-length stripes, heavily ribbed surface, and black fuzz. The cucumbers have excellent taste qualities, crisp, without bitterness or hollows, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to main cucumber diseases such as cladosporiosis, powdery mildew, and false powdery mildew, and also tolerates temperature fluctuations well. Recommended agronomic practices include sowing from April, planting density of 4-5 plants per square meter, regular fertilization and watering. Yield reaches 11.9-12.5 kg per square meter, making Malishok-Krepishok an excellent choice for both professional and amateur cultivation.
