F1 Grasshopper — a very early-maturing, parthenocarpic, bush-type zucchini hybrid with female flowering. Intended for cultivation in open ground and protected soil. Enters fruiting stage on day 38-39 after emergence. Forms 2-3 to 4-6 fruits per node; fruit set is sequential. Plants are vigorous with limited branching. Zucchini fruits are large, white-tipped, bright green, 10-12 cm long, with frequent pubescence. Excellent salt and canning qualities. Hybrid resistant to powdery mildew, olive spot, and common cucumber mosaic virus; tolerant to false powdery mildew.
Planting density in greenhouses: 2.5-3 plants/m2; in open ground: 3-4.5 plants/m2.
