F1 Mahaoon — a fast-maturing, parthenocarpic, bush-type zucchini hybrid of the Balcony type, with predominantly female or female flowering. Intended for cultivation on balconies, loggias, verandas, in open ground, and in spring greenhouses. Main stem is long, branching is reduced. Internodes are short. Many lateral branches, but they are short and determinate. Leaves are small, with weak leaf wrinkling. Zucchini are short, warty, white-stemmed, spindle-shaped, 7-11 cm long, 2.6-3.5 cm in diameter, weighing 60-110 g. On the surface of zucchini, there are short, light longitudinal stripes. The frequency of wart occurrence is moderate, warts are of medium size. At stem nodes and lateral branches, 2 to 7-11 fruits form. Flavor and pickling qualities are high. The hybrid is resistant to olive spot, common cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and tolerant to false powdery mildew.
Planting density in greenhouses: 2.5-3 plants/m2, in open ground: 4-5 plants/m2.
