F1 Hummingbird — a parthenocarpic bushy zucchini hybrid of the Balcony type, with female or predominantly female flowering; intended for cultivation in the spring-summer crop on balconies, verandas, loggias, in open ground and spring greenhouses. Early maturing, with weak branching. Many side shoots, but short, determinate type. Leaves small, arranged horizontally above the soil surface. Internodes of the main stem very short. Zucchinis short, knobby, white-stemmed, 5-8 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm in diameter, weighing 60-80 grams, spindle-shaped, on a long peduncle. The frequency of knob placement is medium, knobs of medium size. On the surface of the zucchinis, short light longitudinal stripes are distinctly visible. At each node, 2 to 8-10 fruits form. High flavor and pickling qualities. The hybrid is resistant to olive spot, cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and tolerant to false powdery mildew.
Planting density in greenhouses: 2.5-3 plants/m2, in open ground: 4-5 plants/m2.
