Lily Karmen

Professional Floriculture Meets Garden Elegance

The «Carmen» lily is a specialized variety developed by the Taytsy Agro-Industrial Society and the Michurin Federal Research Center. Designed to bridge the gap between commercial flower production and high-end landscaping, it offers a robust solution for growers who prioritize consistency and visual impact.

Key Specifications

• Impressive Bloom: With a flower diameter of 12–16 cm, the striking deep red color ensures the plant acts as a focal point in any arrangement or garden layout.
• Commercial Viability: Specifically bred for the cut flower market, the stems are engineered to withstand handling, ensuring the blooms remain resilient and visually appealing after harvest.
• Decorative Versatility: Whether utilized in professional cutting beds or ornamental garden borders, the variety provides a dense, vivid aesthetic that holds its own against more expensive hybrid imports.

Pros and Considerations

The primary advantage of «Carmen» is its acclimatization. Having been developed within regional agricultural frameworks, it demonstrates superior resilience compared to many international varieties that often struggle with local soil variations. However, growers should note that due to the sheer size of its blossoms, it requires placement in wind-sheltered areas to prevent structural damage to the petals. It is the ideal choice for those who value practical, durable, and eye-catching flora that delivers high-performance results with standard professional care.
