The MAS 35K corn hybrid is a high-yielding variety with early flowering and rapid early growth, ensuring effective plant development in the initial stages. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability to stressful growing conditions, making it suitable for various climatic zones, including the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. MAS 35K has a medium maturity period with a FAO maturity group of 360, allowing for a stable harvest at optimal times.
MAS 35K plants are tall with dent-type kernels and medium cob attachment strength. Main yield indicators are formed by 16 rows of kernels with 30-32 kernels per row and 1000-kernel weight ranging from 320-340 grams. The hybrid demonstrates high seedling vigor and drought resistance, as well as good resistance to lodging and diseases, including fusarium of ear and stalk, and smut and powdery mildew.
MAS 35K is recommended for cultivation using intensive agronomic practices, with optimal planting density of 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 65-75 thousand under unstable moisture conditions. The seeds are suitable for planting on various soil types, including dry lands, due to their high drought resistance. This makes the hybrid a universal choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality corn yields.
