Description Mikolajchik
The technical hemp variety Mikolajchik is a high-yielding and modern variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and forest-steppe regions of Ukraine. Plants reach an average height of 180 to 215 cm, facilitating the use of various harvesting machinery. The vegetative period is approximately 94 days to technical maturity and 113 days to biological maturity, enabling effective planning of agronomic activities.

Mikolajchik is characterized by high seed yields — up to 1.5 tons per hectare — as well as high oil content in seeds, reaching 38-40%. The oil content in seeds is approximately 35%, with an oil composition balanced in omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, making it valuable for hemp oil production. Additionally, individual plants on sparse plantings may produce 60-100 grams of seeds, indicating high productivity of the variety.

In addition to seeds, the Mikolajchik variety provides significant stem yields — up to 8.7 tons per hectare, of which 1.4-1.6 tons of fiber with 26-28% content can be obtained. The variety is resistant to diseases and pests such as fusarium, hemp flea, and stem moth, enhancing crop stability. Registered in the State Register of Varieties of Ukraine in 2019, Mikolajchik is a reliable choice for industrial cultivation aimed at obtaining both seeds and oil, as well as fiber.
