Description Arosa
The Arosa potato variety is an early-maturing and ultra-early variety developed by German breeders of the company Solana GmbH&CO KG in the late 1990s. The maturation period ranges from 30-35 days for the first harvest to 70-75 days for full harvest. The plant is semi-upright with medium to large green leaves, and the tubers are oval-shaped with delicate pink or red skin and creamy-yellow flesh. The average tuber weight varies from 70 to 150 grams, and one plant can yield 14 to 17 tubers. The starch content in the tubers reaches 12.2-14.3%, making this variety ideal for preparing French fries and chips.

The Arosa variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. The commercial yield ranges from 188 to 248 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the performance of standard varieties. The potato is resistant to the pathogen of cancer, golden potato cyst nematode, and exhibits moderate resistance to late blight and high resistance to crinkly and striped mosaic. In addition, the variety demonstrates excellent tuber storability — up to 95% — ensuring long-term storage without loss of quality.

Arosa is adaptable to various weather conditions and soil types, allowing cultivation without additional irrigation. The variety easily adapts to different climatic conditions, is suitable for mechanical harvesting, and exhibits stable high productivity. Due to its flavor qualities and versatility, this potato is widely used in both home and industrial potato product manufacturing.

Эта картошка нас выручила в этом году, купили сетку около 20 кг на посадку собрали 160кг, колорадский даже ее не ел как другие сорта после обработки. Мне нравится что она разваривается.С мужем решили обязательно купить на посадку на следующий год.
