Dantop penetrates the plant within an hour and is not washed off by rain. It moves predominantly upward along the plant and protects even untreated areas (duration of action — over 20 days). Young shoots appearing after spraying are also protected. Adult insects and Colorado beetle larvae begin to die within 5-10 minutes after direct contact with the working solution or by feeding on treated plants. Complete mortality of pests occurs within 1.5-2 hours.
Dantop is blue-colored, water-soluble granules of cylindrical shape, 1-1.5 mm in length, which dissolve well in water. They are convenient for use in private households since there is no risk of losses during preparation of the working solution. The contents of the package are clearly visible through the transparent film with a window. DANTOP can be used under any weather conditions in mixtures with most other plant protection products. Its effectiveness and duration of protection remain unchanged.
Preparation of the working solution:
Step 1. Dissolve the contents of the package (5.7 grams) in a small amount of water (e.g., 3 liters).
Step 2. Pour one-third of the prepared solution (in this case, 1 liter) into the sprayer and add water to fill the container to the desired volume (approximately 10 liters), which is sufficient for treating at least 2 hectares. Treatment should be carried out no later than 20 days before harvest.
The solution is recommended to be prepared immediately before use.
