Purpose
Systemic insecticide with contact-stomach action of the chloronicotinil class against sucking and chewing pests on apple trees.
Advantages Ideal tool for protection against apple moth, leafroller and other most dangerous pests. Guaranteed long-lasting protective effect (up to 30 days). Does not cause stress to treated plants. Practically harmless to beneficial entomofauna, including pollinators. Complies with resistance management policies. Reduces fruit drop, improves fruit quality.
Formulation Concentrate suspension containing 480 g/l thiacloprid. Mode of action The action of thiacloprid is based on disruption of nerve impulse transmission, which results from binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to pest death.
Spectrum of activity
Broad-spectrum insecticide, effective against beetles (Coleoptera), moths (Lepidoptera), aphids (Homoptera) and other pests.
Protective period From 15 to 30 days, depending on pest type and weather conditions.
Speed of action
Effect observed within the first hours after application.
Phytotoxicity Not phytotoxic to crops at registered application rates.
Selectivity The product can be applied without restrictions. Potential for resistance No cases of resistance have been reported. However, to prevent resistance, it should be alternated with insecticides from different chemical groups.
