Decis® f-Lux

Reliable field protection with German expertise

When dealing with pests like the European corn borer or various beetles, timing is everything. It is a classic contact-action insecticide based on deltamethrin, which is perfect for hitting pests hard and fast.

Practical usage and field notes

With a dosage of up to 0.5 l/ha, it acts immediately after the spray hits the foliage. Since it is a pure contact pesticide, the quality of coverage is non-negotiable—if you do not reach the pest, you will not kill it. Always ensure your equipment is calibrated correctly for thorough coverage.

• Versatility: It is highly effective across a diverse range of crops, including oilseed rape, sunflower, potato, and apple trees. Having one product for multiple needs simplifies warehouse management significantly.
• Waiting periods: Keep in mind that for vegetable crops, the pre-harvest interval is only 1 day, which is a lifesaver during the harvest season. For other crops, you must respect the 30-day limit to stay within safety regulations.
• Application: It works perfectly against stem borers, weevils, and various leaf-eating insects. With a maximum of two treatments per season, you can effectively break the life cycle of the infestation.

Handling 'Decis f-Lux' is straightforward. It falls under the 3rd hazard class, which means it requires standard safety protocols without being overly complicated. It mixes well and does not cause issues with spray equipment, provided you follow the cleaning routine. It is a no-nonsense, high-performance tool for any farmer who values precision and speed in crop protection.
