Systemic insecticide
Active ingredient: chlorantraniliprole (160 g/kg)
State registration certificate: Series A No. 01193
Formulation: water-soluble granules
Production: France (active ingredient — Japan)
Dantop penetrates into the plant within an hour and is not washed off by rain. It moves predominantly upward through the plant and protects even untreated areas (duration of action — more than 20 days). Young shoots appearing after spraying are also protected. Adult insects and Colorado potato beetle larvae begin dying within 5 minutes after direct contact with the working solution or by feeding on treated plants. Complete insect mortality occurs within 1.5–2 hours.
Dantop is blue-colored, water-soluble granules of cylindrical shape, 1–1.5 mm long, which dissolve well in water. They are convenient for use in private sector, since there is no risk of loss during preparation of the working solution. The contents of the package are visible through the transparent copi roll. No window
Dantop can be used under any weather conditions in mixtures with most other plant protection products. Its efficiency and duration of protection do not decrease.
DANTOP has a broad spectrum of action, i.e. high biological effectiveness not only against Colorado potato beetle, but also against most other pests (aphids, leafhoppers, leafrollers, cutworms, etc).
Dantop is applied during mass appearance of Colorado potato beetle (larvae and/or adult insects)
Preparation of working solution:
Step 1. Dissolve the contents of the package (5.7 g) in a small amount of water (e.g., 3 liters)
Step 2. Pour one-third of the prepared solution (in this case, 1 liter) into the sprayer and add water to completely fill the tank. The prepared volume (approximately 10 liters) is sufficient for treating at least 2 hectares. Treatment should be carried out no later than 20 days before harvest. The solution is recommended to be prepared immediately before use.
Effective against adult and larvae at all stages of development, kills mites
Rapid initial action, causes rapid death of pests shortly after application
Two active ingredients reduce the risk of pest resistance development
mechanism of action
Contact-stomach insecticide with high initial biological activity. The mechanism of action is associated with disruption of sodium and potassium ion exchange, membrane depolarization, inhibition of acetylcholinesterase enzyme activity. As a result, disruption of normal nerve impulse transmission, development of muscle spasms, leading to paralysis.
spectrum of action
Kills complex of sucking and chewing insects at all stages of their development (adults, larvae, eggs), limits development of plant-feeding mites and has insecticidal effect on certain soil pests.
