Proteus ® is a new systemic-contact combined insecticide containing two active substances with different modes of action. The product has the latest unique formulation — oil dispersion, which is characterized by ideal active ingredient content on leaf surfaces, resistance to rain wash-off, and active penetration into the leaf. The combination of two active substances with different modes of action and the oil dispersion formulation allows control of a wide spectrum of pests, provides knockdown effect, prolonged action, and prevents development of resistance to the product.
FEATURES Formulation
The latest word in the development of insecticide formulation technology — oil dispersion type O-TEQ. The active substance is evenly distributed in the carrier — plant oil — and forms a certain spatial structure in it. During long-term storage, so-called syneresis phenomenon is observed. The product visually separates. This is due to the compaction of the aforementioned structure under the influence of gravity. At this point, the structure itself remains intact, holding the active substance from sedimentation. To restore homogeneity, it is sufficient to shake the product a few times before preparing the working solution.
During spraying, oil droplets containing the active substance are evenly distributed in water. After landing on leaves, water evaporates, leaving an oily film with the active substance. This ensures strong retention of the product on the leaf surface, resistance to rain wash-off, and facilitates systemic component penetration into leaf tissues.
Proteus ® is a new step towards highly effective plant protection against pests.
