RATIBOR — powerful weapon in the fight against Colorado beetle, pests of apple and plum trees. Most other insecticides are sold in granular or powder form. In this case, each tiny particle contains billions of molecules. Only some of them reach the plant. This results in a strong dependence of the duration of protective effect on whether it will rain or not.
RATIBOR, unlike other preparations, is absorbed much more actively by leaves, because it is a preparation in which the active ingredient is in dissolved form. In this case, almost every molecule penetrates into the plant. Moreover, the active ingredient of the preparation belongs to compounds effective against Colorado beetle!
FEATURES OF APPLICATION TECHNOLOGY
Potato
Treatment of plants should begin when larvae of the second generation infest 10% of potato plants under dry, windless weather. Then a single spraying is sufficient until harvest. The period of protective action — up to 25 days. This is quite sufficient to ensure crop protection. In some cases, a repeat application may be necessary.
Spraying is carried out with a hand or backpack sprayer according to the dosage table. It is necessary to ensure sufficient and even wetting of the above-ground part of the crop. The working solution is used within several hours after preparation. Application is best carried out on dry, windless days, in the morning or evening. Do not carry out treatment when air temperature above ground exceeds that in the upper air layers. In such cases, upward air currents form and the working solution with the pesticide evaporates quickly. As a result, the effectiveness of any pesticide decreases. Remember that at a dosage of 0.15 l/ha, the duration of protective action is 10–14 days, and at a dosage of 0.2 l/ha — 20–24 days.
Sugar beet
RATIBOR ® works well against a wide range of pests of this crop. However, it is always necessary to remember the specificity of the preparation. To provide reliable protection against wireworms, add 0.1–0.15 l RATIBOR ® to a mixture with the insecticide MOLENIYA ® ** (0.1 l/ha) or with organophosphorus insecticides taken at half the recommended dosage; the effectiveness and duration of protective action of such a mixture increase significantly because both components in the mixture enhance each other. Application technology is similar to that for potatoes.
Apple, plum
Against the complex of pests of apple and plum trees, the first application of RATIBOR ® is carried out during the pink bud stage, the second — after flowering, at the beginning of fruit formation. Treatment is prohibited after rain and dew. Effectively protects young stems and leaves.
Drip irrigation
When using drip irrigation, the required amount of the preparation is added to the irrigation system using an injector. The required amount of the preparation at the rate of 0.3–0.4 l/ha from a separate container using an injection formed by the water flow speed in the system, which is drawn into the system, dissolved there, and distributed through the irrigation tapes to the plants.

Manual work on crops should be carried out no earlier than 3 days after treatment, while mechanized work — within 1 day.
The preparation can be used in mixtures with other plant protection products (fungicides, herbicides, insectoacaricides, plant growth regulators), except strongly alkaline ones. If there are any doubts about compatibility with another preparation, it is better to conduct a preliminary test.
