Description Grodil Maxi 375 OD
Grodil ® Maxi is an innovative oil-dispersed formulation, developed and patented by scientists of the company 'Bayer CropScience' and obtained through the application of ODesi technology.
This formulation includes active substances dispersed in a special complex of oil derivatives and a surfactant. When dissolved in water, it forms an extremely fine dispersion of microscopic active substance complexes with oil and surfactant. Thanks to this, the oil-dispersed formulation possesses unique properties that ensure: better retention of droplets of the working solution on weed leaf surfaces; good wetting and uniform distribution of the working solution over leaf surfaces; presence of a liquid film of oil and surfactant for an extended period, ensuring complete penetration of active substances into leaves without crystallization. This results in high and stable efficacy of Grodil ® Maxi under extreme weather conditions and accelerated herbicidal action.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Grodil ® Maxi is rapidly absorbed by leaves and partially by the root system of weeds, capable of freely moving throughout the plant with downward and upward movement of nutrients. Due to its phloem-xylem action, the preparation penetrates into all parts of the weed and accumulates in growth points, including 'dormant' buds. Weed growth and competition with crops cease within a few hours after treatment with Grodil ® Maxi. Within the first 5-7 days, chlorotic spots appear on affected weeds and growth points die, while death occurs within 3-4 weeks after spraying, depending on weather conditions.

APPLICATION Winter Wheat and Spring Wheat Barley Winter and Spring Corn Spring application, starting from the 2-leaf stage of the crop until the emergence of the flag leaf. The optimal period for application, allowing the highest potential yield to be preserved and ensuring the best herbicidal effect — at the two-node stage. On corn, Grodil ® Maxi is safe for the crop from the 2-leaf stage until the emergence of the 10th leaf. However, the optimal herbicidal effect is achieved when applied before the 5th leaf. The best effect against weeds is achieved at the following stages: annuals: 2-6 leaves, biennials (in rosette stage) and field bindweed at the 6-ring stage.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE

It is recommended to apply using fine spray equipment with a working solution application rate of 150-300 l / ha for field application equipment depending on its type: for example, flat-fan nozzles, liquid pressure 2.5-3 kg/cm2, equipment speed 6-7 km / h. For ultra-low volume and aerial application, the application rate is 50 l / ha.

AUTUMN APPLICATION VARIANTS

Grodil ® Maxi has a dual action on weeds — through leaves and through soil. When applied in autumn, Grodil ® Maxi acts against actively growing weeds and also reaches the soil surface. It breaks down in the soil by microbial action, i.e., by microorganisms. Under low temperatures, which occur during this period, microbial activity sharply decreases and a 'rest period' occurs, during which Grodil ® Maxi, without breaking down, remains in the upper soil layers throughout the winter. In spring, as temperatures rise, it begins to exert its effect on germinating weeds. Thus, from the very beginning of the spring emergence of winter cereals, weeds are destroyed by the action of Grodil ® Maxi and do not compete with crop plants.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AUTUMN APPLICATION

Autumn application of the herbicide Grodil ® Maxi is advisable if there is already a significant amount of rape weed, perennial and aggressive weeds on winter cereal fields in autumn. The application rate of Grodil ® Maxi for autumn use is not less than 0.1 l / ha. The timing of autumn application of Grodil ® Maxi: 1-2 weeks before the cessation of crop vegetation. On fields where there is a significant amount of perennial weeds (Field Oat), it may be possible to apply herbicides such as Grodil ® Maxi or Group 2,4-D herbicides in spring. Autumn application allows stopping weed competition for nutrients and moisture from the beginning of crop vegetation in autumn and the beginning of spring vegetation. Selectivity of Grodil ® Maxi is suitable for cereal crops — wheat, barley, rye, triticale, and corn. Thanks to the presence of an antidote in Grodil ® Maxi, which accelerates the breakdown of active substances in crop plants but not in weeds, the preparation ensures rapid, effective, and reliable herbicidal action in combination with high safety for crops, even under adverse weather conditions (low or variable temperatures) and with late application.

ADVANTAGES

High and stable efficacy under any weather conditions, thanks to the innovative oil-dispersed formulation. Broadest spectrum of herbicidal action against all broadleaf weeds. Possibility of application under low temperatures (from +5 °C). Accelerated action on weeds. Longest application period. Exceptional selectivity and safety for crops due to the presence of an antidote. Presence of a surfactant in the preparation. Dual effect on weeds: through leaves and through soil. Prevents the emergence of new weed waves. Exceptional ease of application. Can also be applied in autumn. High safety for users and the environment. Warning: Read the label carefully before use!
