MECHANISM OF ACTION
After application into the soil, ETALON remains in the top layer and is absorbed by emerging weed seedlings and their roots. It inhibits protein synthesis in sensitive plants. The effect of the product on weeds is irreversible.
When applied according to the technology, it ensures weed-free conditions for 4-6 weeks.
PROPERTIES
At optimal doses, the product provides reliable control over the following weeds: hybrid crabgrass, multiflora knotweed, common ragweed, red-purple leafy dock, common purslane, chickweed, black nightshade, intermediate chickweed, millet, white clover, common crabgrass, medicinal chamomile, medicinal rue, common spurge, field violet, common yellowweed, purple-lilac nettle, field thistle, annual couch grass, mouse-tail grass, small-flowered galinsoga, veronica (species), common brome.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The effectiveness of ETALON depends on the following factors:
1. Humus content in the soil. The dosage should be increased as the humus content in the soil increases.
2. Soil structure. On heavy soils, the dosage should be increased; on light soils, it should be decreased.
3. Moisture content in the soil. The herbicidal activity of ETALON is only expressed in the presence of moisture in the soil. In dry conditions, mechanical incorporation of the product to a shallow depth is mandatory.
The product is applied to the soil surface. The soil should be sufficiently warm, moist, and crumbly. Large hard clods increase absorption area and reduce ETALON effectiveness. Optimal conditions — rainfall or irrigation immediately after spraying (10-15 mm). The best application method — right after sowing, before crop emergence, under tillage. Without incorporation, ETALON should be applied with high probability of rainfall.
