Mode of action

Calibre — systemic herbicide for post-emergence control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D.

Calibre contains two active ingredients that rapidly (within 3 hours) halt cell division in sensitive weed species, thereby blocking weed growth and preventing them from competing with crops for nutrients, water, and light.

Visible symptoms appear within 5-8 days, and complete weed death occurs within 12-21 days. Warm and humid weather enhances herbicide efficacy, while cool and dry weather slows it down.

Selectivity

Calibre is selective towards wheat and barley plants from the 2-3 leaf stage up to the appearance of the flag leaf.

This ensures maximum crop potential, guaranteed yield increase, and allows for prolonged herbicide application.
