Description Express 75
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF EXPRESS
Controls a wide spectrum of weeds, including ragweed, burdock, docks, and others. Post-emergence application allows dosage adjustment and preparation of tank mixes as needed.
Due to post-emergence application, efficacy is not affected by soil moisture. Exhibits high selectivity towards Pioneer hybrid sunflower varieties with Express Sun resistance trait from DuPont.
No restrictions for crop rotation. Rapidly degrades, leaving no residues in crops or environment.
Convenient for transport, storage, and application. Meets DuPont quality standards.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Active ingredient: tribenuron-methyl, 750 g/kg

Base unit
0.5 kg.

To control broadleaf weeds in sunflower crops, traditional soil-applied herbicides are used, but their efficacy sharply decreases under dry conditions. Soil-applied herbicides also fail to ensure adequate crop cleanliness when weed populations are high and perennial weeds are present.
Use of the unique "herbicide — hybrid" complex, developed by DuPont and Pioneer, enables effective control of annual and perennial weeds in sunflower crops regardless of moisture conditions.
DuPont's herbicide EXPRESS was registered in Russia in 2008 and is one of the components of the unique complex in sunflower cultivation technology. Another essential element in the new technology is Pioneer hybrid sunflower varieties with Express Sun resistance trait.

MECHANISM OF ACTION OF EXPRESS
The active ingredient of EXPRESS inhibits acetolactate synthase, an enzyme involved in synthesis of essential amino acids in sensitive plants. Inhibition of this enzyme leads to rapid cessation of plant growth and subsequently to plant death. This enzyme is absent in human and animal organisms, explaining the low toxicity of EXPRESS. EXPRESS is absorbed through leaves and roots and readily translocates to weeds. In sensitive weeds, growth stops within several hours after treatment. Other symptoms, such as chlorosis and necrosis, appear within several days, and then the weeds die. Less sensitive weeds may survive and remain green, but they no longer compete with crop plants.
EXPRESS is minimally hazardous to animals and the environment, including honeybees, fish, and other wildlife species.

RATE OF USE AND APPLICATION PERIOD
EXPRESS kills only emerged weeds at the time of application, with most weeds being most effectively suppressed by EXPRESS when treated in the 2–6 leaf stage of annuals (ragweed in 2–4 leaf stage) and rosette stage of perennials.
