Selective herbicide for protecting cereal grasses and corn from annual and perennial broadleaf weeds.
Characteristics:
Excellent systemic herbicide: penetrates and spreads through the plant within an hour, blocking growth processes. Effective against many annuals and perennials, including those with root sprouts.
Outperforms all known global analogues of 2,4-D in both speed and efficacy of weed suppression.
Maximum effect compared to amine salts is achieved at lower (1.7-2.0 times lower) application rates of 2,4-D acid per hectare.
The ether's action on weeds (visual effect) becomes evident within 12-18 hours, which is 2-4 times faster than with amine salts and 10 times faster than with sulfonylureas.
Herbicide activity begins at +5ºC, whereas other compounds in this group require +8-12ºC.
Due to its high chemical purity, Estoron is virtually non-volatile, preventing losses during application.
Compatible with other broadleaf herbicides, as well as grass herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, growth regulators, and fertilizers.
Rainfast: not washed away by rain within one hour after application. Efficacy under drought conditions remains unchanged.
Does not freeze or crystallize when stored at low temperatures (down to -20ºC), maintaining original product quality.
Active ingredient: 2-ethylhexyl ester of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 850 g/l (564 g/l equivalent acid)
group: derivatives of chlorophenoxyacetic acid
Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Toxicity class: WHO Class II and (low toxicity)
Advantages:
Improved 2,4-D formulation as an ester
Rapid penetration into weed plants
Fast visual effect
Ideal partner for tank mixtures
Prevents development of resistance to sulfonylurea group compounds
