Glyphosate 480, active ingredient.
Non-selective systemic herbicide for effective control of annual and perennial weeds.
Formulation: aqueous solution.
Active ingredient: isopropylamine salt of glyphosate (480 g/L).
Advantages of the product:
can be applied for pre- or post-emergence treatment of more than 150 crops;
completely kills over 100 species of annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds;
causes complete death of both above-ground and root parts of weeds;
most effective method for clearing fields of persistent weeds capable of reproducing not only by seeds but also by root sprouts and rhizomes (charlock, quackgrass, field maple, field bindweed, etc.);
used to remove undesirable woody and shrubby vegetation (ash, alder, birch, willow, etc.);
applied for desiccation of cereal crops, sunflower, flax, rapeseed at a rate of 3.0 L/ha;
rapidly breaks down in soil into natural components: water, carbon dioxide, and phosphates, thus posing no risk to subsequent crops in crop rotation;
safe for humans and the environment, non-toxic to bees, birds, fish, and soil organisms.
Mode of action:
Glyphosate is absorbed by leaves and green shoots within 4-6 hours after application and translocated via photosynthetic products to plant growth points. At these points, the herbicide disrupts the synthesis of a plant enzyme necessary for amino acid and protein formation, leading to weed death.
Application specifics:
leaf surface of weeds must be sufficiently developed (average plant height — 10-20 cm) to absorb the active ingredient;
rate of effect directly depends on the speed of sap movement in the plant. Maximum efficiency is achieved under dry and warm weather conditions and adequate soil moisture;
recommended application rates for Glyphosate:
1-2 L/ha — against annual weeds from germination stage up to appearance of first pair of leaves;
2-3 L/ha — against charlock and groundsel (annual);
3-5 L/ha — against goosegrass;
5-6 L/ha — against field maple (to suppress growth and partial killing), groundsel (perennial);
apply after early spring moisture closure and weed emergence, but no later than 1-3 days before sowing or emergence of crop.
Working solution application rate
product is effective at low application rates: 100-200 L/ha.
