Mid-early maturing variety, developed at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection from crossing varieties Chulkovskaya and Red Lake. Author: L.V. Bayanova. Since 2001, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Volgo-Vyat, Central Chernozem, and West Siberian regions.
Medium-height, upright, dense bush. Growing shoots are thick, hairy, with a reddish "tan". Buds of medium size, rounded, sit on short stems, deviated from the shoots. Petiole scar is narrow, crescent-shaped.
Leaf five-lobed, large, dark green, leathery, wrinkled, blade positioned horizontally, concave along main veins. Leaf margin wavy. Lobes pointed, central lobe exceeds lateral ones. Sometimes, an additional protrusion occurs on the central lobe. Angle between main veins of lateral lobes is obtuse, lateral lobes widely spaced. Basal lobes well developed. Leaf base heart-shaped. Teeth large, sharp. Petiole of medium length, thick, reddish.
Flowers of medium size, saucer-shaped, with distinct rim. Inflorescence base reddish. Sepals yellowish with bright red stripes, not fused, slightly bent back. Petals of medium size, broad. Stamens become bright red with flower aging. Inflorescences of medium length (10.0-12.0 cm), horizontal or slightly curved. Axis thin, with "tan", petiole hairy, long. Fruit inflorescences dense, hanging.
Berries medium-sized (average weight 0.5 g, maximum — 0.8 g), one-dimensional, round, purplish-red, tart-sweet with pronounced sweetness, universal use. Receptacle round, small, pedicel of medium length, S-shaped curved. Chemical composition of berries: soluble dry matter — 10.8%, total sugars — 7.9%, titratable acidity — 2.1%, ascorbic acid — 49.9%, P-active substances — 338.0 mg/100 g, pectin substances — 7.1%.
Variety characterized by winter hardiness, high yield (19.3 t/ha), early fruiting, resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew.
Advantages of the variety: high yield, resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew, good berry taste.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient berry size.
