Medium-ripening variety, obtained at VSTISP through interspecific crossings (original forms unknown). Breeders: N.K. Smolyaninova, V.M. Litvinova. Included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Northwestern and Central regions since 1992.
Medium-height, spreading, wide, moderately dense bush. Non-woody stems of medium thickness, light green, reddish tips, without hairs. Woody stems of medium thickness, gray-brown, straight. Buds solitary, elongated, pointed, medium size, gray-brown, without hairs, deviated from the stem. Terminal bud non-independent. Leaf scars arcuate.
Leaf five-lobed, medium and small, light green, hairy underneath, slightly wrinkled, herbaceous. Leaf blade curved along the midrib. Marginal teeth small, sharp, short, with barely noticeable tips. Central lobe acute, longer than lateral ones. Lateral lobes of medium length and width, acute, angle between lateral lobe veins straight. Basal lobes poorly developed. Base with a medium rounded notch, on terminal leaves of branches — elongated. Petiole of medium length and thickness, without hairs, green.
Flowers medium-sized, cup-shaped, indistinct perianth, green. Sepals greenish-yellow, curled and twisted, free. Inflorescences medium (7-8 cm with petiole), medium density. Axis of medium thickness without hairs, petiole of medium length. Pedicel medium length, green, thin, without hairs.
Berries large (average mass 0.6 g, maximum 0.9 g), round, red, shiny, dry detachment. Moderate seed quantity, small seeds. Tart-sweet flavor, refreshing, rating 4.0. Berries of universal use. Calyx medium, does not fall off, closed. Chemical composition: total sugars — 6.4%, titratable acidity — 2.9%, ascorbic acid — 46.8 mg/100 g.
Self-fertile, yield 16.2 t/ha (4.3 kg/plant), winter-hardy, resistant to pests and pathogens.
Advantages of the variety: yield, large berry size.
Disadvantages of the variety: under heavy fruit load, bush becomes spreading, in some years heavily affected by anthracnose.
