Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the VIR Branch 'Polar Experimental Station' from crossing varieties Khibinskaya and Gondwin. Breeders: S.D. Elsakova, T.V. Romanova. Included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Northern Region since 2007.
Strong-growing, slightly spreading bush. Stems thick, straight, with anthocyanic coloring, hairy, matte. Buds large, egg-shaped, slightly hairy.
Leaf of medium size, green. Leaf blade bare, matte, leathery, smooth, concave. Teeth blunt, short, not curled. Leaf base heart-shaped with a small notch. Three- to five-lobed leaf, with medium indentations, leaf tips broad and sharp. Angle between central veins of lateral lobes is straight. Petiole long, thin, hairy, pink.
Flowers large, brightly colored. Ovule bare, round, without ridges. Sepals large, hairless. Inflorescences very long, dense, contain 14-16 berries, oriented downward. Inflorescence axis thick, straight, hairless.
Berries medium to large (0.7-1.4 g), round or flat-round shape, one-dimensional, red color, thick skin. Pleasant, tender, slightly acidic flavor, no aroma, rating 4.9 points. Berry stalk brown, thin, calyx half-open, small, irregularly shaped. Chemical composition: total sugars — 5.6%, titratable acidity — 3.6%, ascorbic acid — 100.0-110.0 mg/100 g.
Highly winter-hardy variety, with high self-fertility (up to 96%). Ripe berries do not drop. High-yielding, average multi-year yield 11.2 t/ha (2.8 kg/plant). Slightly damaged by diseases and pests.
