Description Gift for Kuzioru
Early maturing variety, developed at the Siberian Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko from crossing the varieties Lepaan Musta and Sеyanets Golubki. Authors: Z.S. Zotova, I.P. Kalinina, N.I. Nazaryuk, M.A. Pershina, I.L. Teslya. Since 2004, included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the West Siberian region.

Medium-height, moderately spreading, sparse bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, green, without hairs, woody—dark brown, smooth. Buds of medium size, ovate, blunt, purplish-brown, without hairs, deviated, solitary, terminal—free.


Leaf five-lobed, medium, light green, matte, without hairs, smooth, leathery, blade slightly concave along main veins, slightly convex at shoot tips. Lobes acute, gaps between lobes small, central lobe elongated, with additional projections. Side lobes acute, directed sideways, angle between their main veins obtuse. Basal lobes well developed, veins directed toward petiole. Leaf base with a notch formed by overlapping leaf margins. Teeth broad, short, with "tips". Petiole of medium length and thickness, without hairs, green, deviated at 45° angle.

Flowers of medium size, cup-shaped, sepals light pink, not closed, slightly curved backward. Stigma level with anthers. Inflorescences of medium length (up to 5.0 cm), loose, hanging, axis thin, green, curved.

Berries large (1.9–3.6 g), round, black, with medium seed count, calyx closed, skin medium, dry detachment, simultaneous ripening, good transportability. Taste sour-sweet, with aroma. Berries of universal use. Chemical composition: dry matter—11.5–14.6%, total sugars—6.5–11.5%, titratable acidity—0.9–3.2%, ascorbic acid—171.6 mg/100 g, pectin substances (on fresh weight)—2.3%.

Winter-hardy, drought-resistant, self-fertile, early-bearing, high resistance to powdery mildew (0.2 points) and anthracnose (1.0 point), septoria, bud mite, gall aphid—slight damage (2.0 points), average yield 10.5 t/ha (3.2 kg/plant), maximum—13.3 t/ha.

Advantages of the variety: high yield, large berries, good taste, simultaneous ripening, high resistance to powdery mildew.

Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient resistance to bud mite.
