Mid-season ripening variety, developed at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection from crossing form (27-3-63 x Sundby-II) and variety Exotika. Authors: T.P. Ogol'tsova and S.D. Kniazev. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Central Chernozem region in 2007.
Strong-growing, slightly spreading, medium-density bush. Growing shoots are medium-thick, green, hairless, very weakly colored with anthocyanin. Woody shoots are thick, dark-gray with dark-brown tips, glossy, with medium internodes. Buds are large, alternate, egg-shaped with a pointed apex, yellowish-pink, with clearly visible glands, asymmetric, deviated from the shoot, seated on a short stem. Terminal bud is free, leaf scar shape is rounded-triangular.
Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized, folded, smooth, corrugated, green, with a matte tint. Central lobe is acute-triangular, significantly longer than lateral lobes, with additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are short, sharp, angle between their veins is obtuse. Upper sides of lateral lobes are slightly curved upward or spread out, lower sides are strongly curved or vertical. Notches between lobes are small and obtuse. Basal lobes are moderately expressed, their veins are raised upward and directed toward the petiole. Base of leaf has a deep, almost closed notch. Teeth are obtuse and small, petioles are hairless and uncolored.
Flowers are medium-sized, pale, with medium-sized sepals. Inflorescence is medium-sized, dense, axis is medium, curved, hairy.
Berries are large (2.0 g), round, single-ribbed, nearly black, weakly glossy, medium skin, with medium seed count, tart-sweet flavor, with aroma (4.5 points), intended for general use. Receptacle is half-open, pedicel is medium in length and thickness. Chemical composition: dry matter - 12.8%, total sugars - 9.2%, titratable acidity - 3.2%, ascorbic acid - 122.7 mg/100 g, anthocyanins - 143.5 mg/100 g, leucoanthocyanins - 298.5 mg/100 g, catechins - 106.4 mg/100 g, total P-active substances - 548.4 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, early-bearing, self-fertile (74%), immune to powdery mildew, highly resistant to bud mite, moderately resistant to anthracnose and septoria, suitable for mechanical harvesting, average yield 10.1 t/ha (1.5 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: immunity to powdery mildew, large berry size, high stable yield, technological suitability.
Disadvantages of the variety: branches bend under heavy fruit load, low shoot-forming capacity.
