Maize RGT RIPLEXX

French genetics for high-performance grain production

RAGT's 'RGT Riplexx' is a high-performance maize hybrid that stands out in the European market due to its robust yield potential and reliability. As a hybrid developed in France, it is specifically designed for growers seeking to maximize grain output through modern genetic advancements.

Agronomic Profile and Disease Resistance

The hybrid features a dent-type grain, which is synonymous with efficient dry-down characteristics, helping farmers reduce post-harvest drying costs. As a simple hybrid, it offers excellent uniformity, which is crucial for uniform ripening and harvesting. A standout feature of RGT Riplexx is its genetic resistance to Fusarium, protecting both ears and stalks from common fungal pathogens, ensuring top-tier grain quality even under challenging conditions.

Cultivation Strategy

With a vegetation period of 140–160 days, RGT Riplexx requires strategic planning to align with specific regional climates. RAGT suggests adjusting seeding density based on water availability to optimize the crop's physiological performance:

• 45,000–55,000 plants/ha for areas with moisture limitations.
• 70,000–75,000 plants/ha for highly fertile soils with adequate irrigation or precipitation.

Primarily bred for grain usage, this hybrid offers excellent shelling percentages and high ear weight. By integrating RGT Riplexx into a crop rotation, farmers benefit from RAGT’s expertise in developing hybrids that maintain health during the critical maturation phase, making it a dependable choice for intensive grain production systems.
