Description
Alexxandra is a high-class sugar corn hybrid characterized by stable and high yield potential. It has a medium maturity cycle (FAO 350) and features a dent type of kernel. Plants have medium height and demonstrate excellent adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, making the hybrid flexible and suitable for cultivation in different regions.
The Alexxandra hybrid exhibits high drought and stress resistance, confirmed by high scores for drought tolerance (9) and cold tolerance (7). It also shows good resistance to stalk and ear Fusarium (8 points), reducing the risk of yield losses. The initial growth rate of the hybrid is quite high (7 points), promoting rapid plant development. The number of rows per ear ranges from 16-18, with 36-40 kernels per row, and a 1000-kernel weight of 330-350 g.
To achieve maximum productivity, optimal sowing time at soil temperature 10-12 °C is recommended, with late sowing possible at 12-14 °C.
