Maize R 16077

Technological Profile of R 16077

The RAGT selection strategy focuses on physiological plasticity, and the R 16077 hybrid is a testament to this engineering philosophy. Developed by the originator Societe Ragt 2N S.A.S, this maize hybrid is designed as a precision tool for modern agricultural systems dealing with volatile climatic shifts. The underlying genetics are engineered to sustain metabolic activity and biomass accumulation even when moisture availability becomes a limiting factor during the growing season.

Technical Specifications and Plant Architecture

• Early-Stage Vigor: The hybrid demonstrates a robust physiological start, facilitating rapid root system establishment in cool spring soil, which is essential for uniform crop development.
• Mechanical Integrity: Through proprietary RAGT 2n breeding techniques, the plant structure has been optimized for structural resilience. A reinforced stalk and controlled ear placement minimize lodging risks and ensure machine-friendly harvesting conditions.
• Efficient Moisture Management: The hybrid exhibits an accelerated drying rate at maturity, a critical parameter for cost-effective grain production. By minimizing post-harvest drying requirements, producers can significantly improve their net return on investment.

The practical application of R 16077 in a rotation cycle allows for a more predictable and manageable harvest schedule. The French breeding expertise integrated into this hybrid provides a balance between high-yield potential and the operational stability required for large-scale agricultural enterprises looking for long-term consistency in their harvest results.
