Maize LFN 1971 X LGR 2038

Focusing on Grain Productivity

French breeding by Mas Seeds has established a reputation as a reliable tool for precision farming. The hybrid LFN 1971 X LGR 2038 is designed with a narrow specialization: high-quality grain production with minimized post-harvest processing costs. If your agronomic strategy is focused on high per-hectare yields, this genetic material will serve as a robust foundation for your harvest.

Agronomic Profile and Field Application

• Efficiency Oriented: Developed by originator Joel Meunier, this hybrid is built for intensive farming conditions. In field scenarios, it demonstrates excellent moisture release, which is critical for saving energy resources during grain drying.
• Sowing Recommendations: Due to its specific genetic traits, LFN 1971 X LGR 2038 reaches its full potential when the optimal plant density—recommended by Mas Seeds for its maturity group—is maintained. This ensures controlled competition for moisture and nutrients among the plants.
• Technological Flexibility: Agronomists choose this hybrid for farms where stable grain harvesting is paramount. Its high resistance to lodging simplifies the operation of harvesting machinery and minimizes mechanical losses.

The use of this hybrid in crop rotation is justified on fields with high fertility levels, where the goal is to maximize dry grain output with minimal unnecessary vegetative mass. While it does not require unique conditions, it responds exceptionally well to high-quality mineral fertilization and timely weed control.
