The plant is tall with moderate leaf height and weak anthocyanic tint of the first leaf sheath. The KSS 5180 grain is cream-colored and toothed, with rows per ear ranging from 12 to 16 and kernels per row from 26 to 34. The 1000-kernel weight varies from 300 to 320 grams, and the grain color is predominantly orange. The hybrid is characterized by high yield: in the Central Chernozem region, average yield is about 74-77 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 105 centners per hectare, while in the Volga region, yield can reach 83.7 centners per hectare.
