Maize KS85XP

A stable solution for intensive agriculture

In the face of shifting climatic conditions, selecting a hybrid with a short vegetation period becomes a strategic advantage. The KS85KhP maize from the Ukrainian company "Akris Agro Group" is a specialized varietal material focused primarily on producing commercial grain with predictable moisture loss characteristics.

Agronomic profile and features

The key characteristic of this product is its maturity period of 90–100 days. This places the hybrid in the mid-early group, which is critical for farms planning early harvesting or operating in regions prone to persistent autumn rains. The dent-type grain provides high test weight and excellent suitability for automated elevator processing.

Who is this hybrid for?

• Farms practicing early sowing or needing to clear fields quickly for winter crop rotation.
• Agro-enterprises prioritizing the balance between potential yield and efficient grain moisture reduction.
• Regions with limited growing degree days where mid-late hybrids often fail to reach full maturity.

The primary strength of KS85KhP lies in its grain-specific orientation. Unlike universal hybrids, the breeding process here focused on optimizing the ear structure to maximize dry matter accumulation. Nevertheless, like any early-group variety, it requires adherence to mineral nutrition protocols; under high-intensity conditions, the plant is capable of competing effectively with more expensive imported counterparts.
