Maize F 60

A Versatile Choice for Intensive Farming

The F 60 corn hybrid from RAT is a prime example of a breeding product focused on maximum operational flexibility. Designed for farmers who require consistent results in both commercial grain production and quality forage base creation, this hybrid successfully addresses the needs of diverse agricultural operations.

Agrotechnical Features and Potential

The key characteristic of F 60 is its wide FAO range (90–1240), making it a unique tool for crop rotation planning. This variability allows growers to adapt their crops to specific regional climatic conditions, ensuring stable yields even during seasons with irregular weather patterns. RAT, as both the originator and manufacturer, prioritizes the reliability of its genetic material, which has been tested extensively in Russian field conditions.

• Grain production: exhibits strong initial growth vigor and efficient dry-down during maturation.
• Silage potential: provides a balanced content of dry matter and starch, which is critical for high-quality cattle feed rations.
• Biogas sector: the biomass of F 60 shows excellent conversion rates, making it an efficient feedstock for energy production facilities.

The hybrid's reputation is built on its predictability. Unlike highly specialized lines, F 60 is relatively tolerant of minor variations in cultivation practices, a trait highly valued by farms operating in challenging agricultural zones. The consistent yield potential, combined with the superior quality characteristics of the harvest, makes this hybrid a solid foundation for a balanced and sustainable farming system.
