Description EC SIGMA
EC Sigma — medium-early three-line corn hybrid with FAO 280, developed by Euralis. This hybrid has a high yield potential, reaching up to 140 c/ha, and is characterized by high compensatory and regenerative capacity, ensuring stable growth and development even under adverse conditions. EC Sigma seeds exhibit high growth energy and rapid early vegetative development, which contributes to the formation of a strong and healthy plant mass.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major corn diseases such as Helminthosporium, Fusarium, and smut, as well as good resistance to lodging. The grain has a cream-colored, toothed structure, with approximately 29 kernels per row, and a 1000-kernel weight of about 360 grams. EC Sigma is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe.

Recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: for zones with insufficient moisture, optimal density is 60-70 thousand plants per hectare, while for zones with high moisture levels — 70-80 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is versatile and can be grown for both grain and silage, making it an attractive choice for farmers aiming for high yield and product quality.
