Maize AIX 1165

Stability and Versatility in Every Hectare

Selecting a corn hybrid for intensive farming is always a matter of balancing yield potential with stress resistance. The Syngenta AIH 1165 fits into the mid-maturing hybrid segment, offering agronomists a flexible solution for various climatic zones. The key strength of this hybrid lies in its genetic plasticity: the intermediate grain type with distinct flinty characteristics ensures resistance to both field stress and mechanical damage during harvesting.

Why choose the AIH 1165?

• Versatile Use: The grain performs exceptionally well for both commercial grain sales and deep processing, giving farmers the freedom to choose their supply channels.
• Maturity Stability: The mid-maturing group allows for efficient harvest planning, helping to avoid peak equipment load times.
• High-Quality Yield: The yellow-orange color and physical properties of the grain ensure a high yield during processing, a trait highly valued by major grain traders and processors.

Under field conditions, the AIH 1165 demonstrates predictable development. Its strength lies in its ability to maintain viability during short-term droughts, which is critical for regions with inconsistent moisture levels. However, it is important to note that to unlock its full genetic potential, this hybrid requires adherence to optimal sowing times and precise mineral nutrition. While it does not tolerate major agronomic errors, it rewards diligent management with a consistently high and high-quality yield that is easy to process post-harvest.
