MELIORATOR

The Meliorator garlic variety represents a new high-quality variety developed through clone selection. It is recommended for growing on suburban and personal plot sites due to its unique characteristics. The bulb of this variety is large, weighing from 80 to 110 grams, with a round-flat shape. Each bulb contains 5 to 7 cloves, which have a creamy color of parchment scales and white pulp. The garlic taste is sharp, dry matter content reaches 40%, and total sugar — up to 25%. Outer cloves are absent, and dry outer scales have a reddish-white tint.

One of the main features of the Meliorator variety is its ability for long-term storage — up to 10–12 months, which significantly exceeds traditional winter garlic varieties. This quality makes it especially attractive to those who value the possibility of long-term use of the harvest without loss of taste and nutritional properties. The variety is named after RAS Academician Nikolai Dubenko, which underscores its scientific origin and high breeding quality.
