Wild cabbage Iton F1

Consistent Yields for Long-Term Storage

Working with the Bejo Eton F1 hybrid, agronomists get predictable results, which is critical for supply chain management. This mid-late white cabbage hybrid (90-100 days from transplanting) has proven itself to be a reliable choice for long-term storage. With a planting density of 35,000–40,000 plants per hectare, the variety forms uniform, round heads weighing 2.0–3.0 kg, perfectly suitable for both the fresh market and processing.

Agronomic Features and Protection

In changing climate conditions and variable soil pathogen pressure, this genetic protection eliminates unnecessary fungicide costs and prevents crop failure during head development. The grey-green color of the head provides an attractive market appearance, while the leaf structure allows the cabbage to withstand transport without losing quality.

Storage as a Key Advantage

The main performance indicator for this hybrid is its storability. 6-8 months in a storage facility with controlled temperatures is a realistic timeframe during which the heads maintain their density and structure. The internal structure is compact, making it ideal for processing, especially for pickling and salads. If you are looking for a variety that allows you to sell high-quality produce not only in autumn but also in the dead of winter or even spring, Eton F1 will live up to your expectations.
