Torpedo — a high-yielding, mid-early variety; enters fruiting on day 125-130 after emergence. The plant is vigorous, upright, sparse, reaching 130-170 cm in unheated greenhouses and 180-250 cm in heated greenhouses. Planting density: 3 plants/m2. Fruits are smooth, cylindrical, lilac-purple, weighing 150-200 g, measuring 17-23×6-8 cm, on a long peduncle, completely thornless, thin-skinned, low-seeded. Fruit flesh is tasty, tender, greenish. Fruits are suitable for culinary use and canning. Characterized by intensive fruiting and low flower drop. Due to the absence of thorns, care for the plants is simplified. Intended for cultivation in spring unheated and heated greenhouses and in winter greenhouses with short and extended crop rotations.
