Description VALKYRIA SALKONY
Astra Valkyria salmon (Callistephus chinensis Valkyrie) is an annual plant 60-65 cm tall with a pyramidal bush. This large-flowered and abundantly flowering series of asters is distinguished by its radiant flower shape. Inflorescences consist of long, rolled into a tube petals and reach 12-14 cm in diameter. 8 to 12 stems form on one plant, ensuring abundant and prolonged flowering.

The plant has strong and long stems, which make it stable and convenient for cutting. Astra Valkyria is widely used for greening suburban areas, and is also valued for the high quality of cut flowers. Flowers retain their decorative properties in a vase for a long time, which makes them an excellent choice for interior decoration and bouquets.

For growing asters, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings in March-April, followed by pricking out in the phase of 2-3 true leaves according to the scheme 5x5. Planting in open ground is carried out in mid-May. With a non-seedling method, seeds can be sown early in spring or in winter for a permanent place. Astra Valkyria is unpretentious in care and responds well to feeding, which contributes to its healthy growth and abundant flowering.
