Aster LILAC DRESS

Engineering Parameters and Morphology

The perennial aster 'Sirenevyj Sarafan' (Lilac Sundress) is a breeding development from the FSBSI Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, optimized for stable performance in temperate climates. Its genetic architecture is built on a perennial growth cycle, eliminating the need for annual replanting. The plant develops as an upright structure ranging from 50 to 80 cm in height, making it an ideal choice for the mid-layer of floral arrangements.

Flower Head: Structural Analysis

A key feature of this variety is its semi-spherical inflorescence. The diameter of the flower reaches 8–10 cm during the peak blooming phase. A dense petal arrangement provides durability against mechanical stress and weather conditions. The characteristic violet hue maintains its pigment intensity throughout the entire flowering period.

Performance Characteristics

• Winter Hardiness: The variety is adapted to overwintering in open ground, validated by extensive cultivation history in various climate zones.
• Application: The stem architecture and flower geometry allow for both high-density landscaping (flowerbeds) and cut-flower production. The rigidity of the peduncles ensures a long shelf life and maintains an attractive appearance in vases.
• Breeding Origin: Developed under the technical supervision of Galina Viktorovna Ostryakova at the FSBSI Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, ensuring high consistency with stated varietal traits.
