Aster INESSA

A resilient perennial for long-term landscaping

The «Inessa» aster is a perennial variety developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, Russia. For the professional landscape operator, this plant is an efficient solution that eliminates the need for seasonal replanting, offering a consistent aesthetic return over several years. It is a workhorse variety designed for reliability and minimal maintenance cycles.

Operational and physical parameters

• Growth habit: Reaches 80–100 cm in height. The structure is robust enough to maintain its form without the need for additional mechanical supports.
• Bloom characteristics: Semi-spherical flowers in shades of pink and violet. The dense blooming pattern ensures full coverage, making it an excellent choice for visual impact.
• Winter hardiness: Highly resilient to cold, allowing the plant to overwinter effectively without complex protective measures. This significantly reduces labor costs during the autumn season.

Application and maintenance

«Inessa» is engineered for use in permanent flower beds and borders. Once established, it forms dense clumps that suppress weed growth, effectively reducing the need for constant weeding. Maintenance is limited to standard seasonal trimming and basic irrigation during dry spells. Because it is a true perennial, it provides long-term cost-efficiency, as the plant does not require annual seeding or transplanting.

When planning your site, treat this aster as a primary structural element. It functions reliably in various soil conditions and retains its height and density even under adverse weather. Choosing «Inessa» means opting for a predictable, low-maintenance component that keeps your landscape looking professional with minimal intervention.
