Yarrow ZLATOSLAV

Practical Applications of the 'Zlatoslav' Yarrow

The 'Zlatoslav' yarrow variety, developed by the VILAR Institute, is a highly effective choice for commercial farms focusing on medicinal herb production and professional landscape design. Unlike wild varieties, this strain offers uniform development and consistent biomass, making it ideal for systematic field cultivation.

Key Operational Characteristics

The core advantage of 'Zlatoslav' is its versatility as both a pharmacological raw material and a decorative plant. It produces large corymbose inflorescences with a color palette ranging from pure white to deep red. A bloom period of 50-60 days ensures a manageable harvest window for agricultural teams.

• Pharmaceutical Production: 'Zlatoslav' is primarily cultivated as a stable source for herbal medicines, extracts, and health supplements. Its standardized genetic profile ensures predictable levels of active compounds.
• Landscaping and Agrotourism: Its striking decorative appearance makes it a popular choice for perimeter planting or flower beds in agrotourism projects, providing a low-maintenance solution for site beautification.
• Pollinator Support: With its extended flowering cycle, this variety acts as a crucial nectar source for apiaries located near production plots, contributing to overall biodiversity.

For optimal results, 'Zlatoslav' should be planted in well-lit areas. The density of its growth habit provides excellent soil coverage, which suppresses weed development and reduces the need for mechanical inter-row weeding. Its robustness makes it a reliable asset for sustainable farming operations.
