Parallax watermelon is a large-fruited hybrid intended for cultivation during the main summer season. The plant features a strong root system that efficiently supplies the fruit with nutrients and moisture, promoting the formation of large, high-quality melons. Harvesting begins 65–70 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing for the timely collection of fresh fruits.
The fruits of the Parallax watermelon have a round shape and weigh between 12–15 kg, making them convenient for transportation and sale. The rind is dark green with light stripes, while the flesh is a rich red, dense, and crisp. During the growing season, the watermelon accumulates 11–12% sugar, ensuring excellent taste and sweetness.
The Parallax hybrid is characterized by high uniformity and marketability, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. It is adaptable and low-maintenance, easily adjusting to various cultivation technologies and weather conditions. The recommended seed rate is 5–7 thousand per hectare, and seed packaging is available in 100 and 500 units, suitable for different planting scales.
