Tomato variety "Yellow Hat" is an early-maturing, low-growing, bush-type plant that does not require pruning. The period from germination to the beginning of fruit ripening is 85-90 days. The fruits of this variety are round, yellow, weighing 15-20 grams, and have an excellent taste, making them especially attractive for home cultivation.
This variety is ideal for cultivation on balconies, windowsills, and hanging planters due to its compact size and resilience. Tomato is warm-loving, so for high and early yields, it is recommended to grow seedlings. Sowing for seedlings is carried out from early to mid-March in nutrient pots measuring 10x10 cm, and seedlings are grown in cups for 55-60 days until transplanting.
Transplanting into open ground is done in the second decade of May, with spacing between plants of 50x50 cm. To accelerate ripening and protect against cold, young plants are temporarily covered with transparent plastic. The best preceding crops for this variety are legumes, cucurbits, root vegetables, and leafy greens; however, it is not recommended to plant tomatoes after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, or watermelon.
