Description
Tomato variety Tolstopuziki is a medium-ripening Siberian selection, adapted to Siberian climate conditions and resistant to both heat and cold. From germination to harvest, it takes about 100 days, allowing cultivation in open ground and harvesting until late autumn. Determinate plants, reaching about 60 centimeters in height, form large fruits on upper clusters and exhibit stable fruit set even under adverse weather conditions. Yield per plant reaches up to 3 kilograms.
Fruits of tomato Tolstopuziki are large, heart-shaped or kidney-shaped, weighing about 400 grams, sometimes up to 900 grams. They are juicy, colored in raspberry-pink, with high sugar content and rich aroma. The taste of the tomatoes is highly rated, making them an excellent choice for making summer salads, purées, and juices. Fruits remain on the cluster for a long time, which is convenient for gradual harvesting.
Growing seedlings of tomato Tolstopuziki does not require complex agronomic techniques: plants root well when transplanted into individual cups with ordinary garden soil without additional fertilizers. After transplanting, seedlings should be watered and placed in a location with moderate light for better rooting. Due to their characteristics and adaptation to the climate, the variety Tolstopuziki is a reliable choice for gardeners aiming to obtain tasty and large tomatoes in Siberian conditions.
